Performance Mode
Performance Mode is an alternate UI configuration specifically designed for the live VJ context. The UI is simplified to show only the parameters most crucial to real-time control, with configuration and project building tools largely ommitted.
Toggle Performance Mode by pressing ⌘P or using the button in the Toolbar.

Overview

Performance Mode is structured as follows:
- The Preview Window has two views, each with its own camera controls
- Channels + buses have both + buttons
- Two vertical Device Bins on the left + right sides display independent channels
- The Mixer occupies the Bottom Tray with no Device Bin
- Audio controls are in the bottom left
- Color Palette controls are in the bottom right
Right-click the Mixer to expose an option to Center
or Left-Align
its placement.
Auxiliary Preview
The dual-view Preview Window offers the ability to preview multiple channels or buses in real-time. Each view has its own camera position and settings. The left-hand view is referred to as CUE and the right-hand as AUX.
By default, both views show the Master output. The CUE side respects all normal Cueing behaviors. The AUX side behaves in the same manner, but using the state of the AUX buttons that now appear on each channel in the Mixer.

+ controls are also available for the + crossfader buses. One typical use case in live performance is to use the CUE view for group A and the AUX view for group B in coordination with the Crossfader. This way, new visual material can be prepared on the inactive side to be blended in once ready (similar to a DJ working in headphones).
Channel Control
In Performance Mode there are two vertical Device Bins, each of which shows all the devices on a given Channel.

Channel Header

The Channel Header indicates the name of the CUE or AUX bin. Shortcut buttons are available to cue the
+ crossfader buses, and the + buttons change which channel is focused in this Device Bin.Channel Device

The Channel Device shows the normal Pattern Bin controls along with a basic Enabled toggle, Fader, and
or button.Device Controls
Device Controls are shown using a standardized UI. Controls occupy a fixed size in rows of four, with an editable ordering that corresponds to the parameters controlled by MIDI Control Surfaces.

When a MIDI Control Surface is active, an indicator box is drawn around the focused controls.

Editing Remote Controls
