Working with Ableton
Ableton Live is a flexible and powerful digital audio workstation. You can use Max 4 Live devices to synchronize Chromatik to Ableton's tempo, and use Ableton's automation features to choreograph parameter changes in Chromatik.
Chromatik Setup
Open your Chromatik project. Ensure that OSC input is enabled.

A suite of Max 4 Live devices for Chromatik can be downloaded here →
Chromatik Tempo Relay
To synchronize tempo, set Chromatik's clock source to OSC (see Tempo Sync →).

Engage the Sync Tempo button and Chromatik will automatically follow the Ableton clock.

Chromatik MIDI Relay

Forwards Ableton MIDI events to Chromatik. Specify the MIDI Channel and select which types of MIDI events are forwarded.
Chromatik Parameter Control

Use the Prefix field to set an optional base prefix for OSC paths. Enable parameters P1 thru P8 with given OSC paths, and you can then use normal Ableton automation to change the value of parameters in Chromatik.
Chromatik Discrete Parameter Control

This device is identical to the normal parameter control, but works for parameters which have integer or enumerated values, with a maximum Ableton automation range from 0-127.
Chromatik Pattern Control

Specify the Chromatik Channel by either number or name. The Pattern index value can be automated using Ableton parameter automation. This device is only relevant when the given Chromatik channel is in Playlist Mode (see Compositing →).
